About Me

My name is Terri and I have been married to a wonderful man named Brian for the past 20 years. We have two children together who are 17 and 18.

The past year has been hard on us as Brian has been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. Basically, the top of his heart flutters instead of beats. He has been through several procedures with no success yet including putting in a pacemaker. Because he has been in and out of the hospital so much he has missed alot of work and we struggle each month to survive. There was even a time in September I thought we were going to be homeless, but praise the Lord, He intervened.

Anyway, I've really enjoyed this site. It has encouraged me so much. I have been able to reach out to other people and grant some small wishes. I love that! It encourages me to encourage others! What a wonderful circle!

I love to send cards and letters out. I also love love love my pen pals I have met here. I am always in need of stamps, pretty stationary, pretty stickers and scrapbook stickers, pretty envelopes and colored pens. I also love scented candles, especially pumpkin spice! I collect creative salt and pepper shakers as a hobby. I have 33 sets now and am always on the lookout for other ones! Books are a passion of mine. My favorite authors are Jill Connor Browne, who makes me laugh, and Karen Kingsburry, who makes me cry.
