About Me

I'm a mentally disabled (Major Depression) stay-at-home mom who is advocating for my family. In addition, I have Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Low Thyroid Disease, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and a bulging disc in my back.

My son, Jason Mackey, is an identical twin who was born with Nemaline Myopathy Neuromuscular Disease (one of the diseases covered by MDA). He is 13, is in a wheelchair, has a trach and ventilator, and has home nursing care. His twin brother, Joe, passed away at age 5 from pneumonia due to complications from his muscle disease.

My mother, Sandra Tribble, is 68 years old. She has Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Diabetic Retinopathy, Diabetic Neuropathy, Congestive Heart Failure, and chronic bladder and bowel incontinence. She has had several small strokes which has caused permanent damage in her brain which has slightly affected her short term memory.
