About Me

I'm a 69 year old Navy veteran,I am retired from civil service,and just basically like all the rest fighting to stay alive in this world of ours.I live off small income of $652.00 a month,and have severe life threatening problems.I am also on dialysis 3x a week for kidney failure.I've been in the hospital 7 times in the past 18 mos total them up I spent almost 3 mos in the hospital was air flighted to hospital several times because of my condition,and for the past year,I have several ruptured discs in my back,told not to pick up anything,I could cause more major damages to my back.I also have CHF, COPD, bad heart, diabeties, to mention a few. I have always loved people and have done my best to help when I can.I hope in the future that I can grant wishes to someone that needs I can meet.I want to do make christmas stocking for the wounded veterans who are in the Nashville VA Medical Center.I feel these guys have put their lives on the line to innsure we all live in a free world and because of this they are wounded and away from their family during this time and I think they should be acknowledged for their service and hopefully cheered up at the same time.I also want to make some lap robes for them.And for the record I don't plan on dying. Got too much I need to do.I can only try.think my life story might encourgage others to help work for their own goal of helping self,I have include the early part of my life,my Mom refused to give up on me & how she instilled one has to fight to overcome all odds.Badly hurt as a child wasn't supposed to walk Mom didn't give up,I started walking at 18 mos.I woke up yesterday and found that my left big toe had burst open during the night I previously had a bad infection in it and the medical staff wanted to remove my toe,antibotics,they said took care of the problem, but I have this toe burst open and oozing,,but I will have to go get it checked. Up date infection is gone .Pm for info. Kidsmama
