About Me

I am a married mother of a 6 year old son. On July 18th 2012 my husband was on his way home from his second job and fell a sleep at the wheel. He was in an awful truck accident and was air lifted to the University of Michigan Hospital where he was for a week with many injuries. Now that he is home I can not work because I have to take care of him until he is well enough to be alone. He currently has at least one more surgery on his leg and many months of recovery before he can even think of work again (although he THINKS it will be sooner - bless his heart). He is recovering from a head injury, brain bleed, his forehead had to be replaced with plates, broken sternum, ribs, broken front teeth and his right leg is broke in 2 spots and he currently has a stablizer bar in place until his next surgery. When the accident took place we didn't have health insurance (and still don't) so I am sure the bills will start rolling in at anytime. My main concern right now besides his health is that we don't lose our now only car - we are within a year of paying it off and if we don't have income I am scared it will be picked up by the bank. Also If I can some how come up with the money to have his two front teeth replaced for him I think it would make him feel so much better about himself in this situation. His teeth missing don't bother me but since my husband is 36 he is really having a hard time with the fact his teeth are missing. Anything will help us and even if someone knows of a discount service for his teeth I am willing to hear from anyone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
