About Me
I am a disabled mother and wife. I suffer from chronic, severe mental illnesses, including agoraphobia, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, depression, PTSD and BPD. I am married to a wonderful man who is also disabled, due to a car accident. He's had several surgeries in the last couple years, and feels like a failure because he can't work to take care of our family. We have 2 amazing boys, ages 14 and 7. Our 14yr old Jamal is a wonderful child, who's quiet and fairly responsible. (he's 14! lol) He LOVES dressing in button up shirts and looking nice, ever since a wonderful hero sent him some of her son's outgrown clothing. If I could have one thing for Jamal, it would be a new coat Our 7 year old La'Ray, has ODD, DBD and Anxiety making things even more difficult to deal with on a day to day basis, especially being home bound 95% of the time. He also has a developmental delay, which in and of itself is a big hurdle. In addition, he was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and asthma
He also sees a psychiatrist at Children's Hosp, who has been so helpful in dealing with his issues. They are working hard to get him access to as many programs and agencies that they can, so that his issues can be dealt with better.
If I could have one thing for La'Ray, it would be a tablet. Something that he can use to access the apps and programs that his teachers & therapists say would be most helpful.
Lately, I've been blogging, and loving it. I've started doing product reviews and even running giveaways! It's amazing. I have a section especially for parents of special needs children, which I work on filling with information and resources.

We simply take one day at a time, and sometimes, an hour at a time.
I love being a member of WUAH. I've met so many wonderful people, both one's who've been our hero, and one's who I've been blessed enough to hero.
We are grateful for what we have, and extremely appreciative to all who've helped us.
Thank you, and God Bless!
