About Me

Hello! I am a stay at home mom who works as an artist. I sell my creations online. It's my dream to someday have art as my full time career. Currently my earnings help with our expenses, and I'm fortunate that my husband is so kind and supportive.

I have a wonderful husband (married 22 years). We met while both of us were on active duty in the U.S. Navy. We have a fantastic son who just turned 17. He loves theater and metalworking.

I adore animals, although at the moment our only pets are 4 cats. (We still call the 2 youngest ones "kittens" although they are technically adult, because they still act like silly little furballs. They sleep with us at night, and bring us their favorite toys to share.)

We'd love a dog, but don't have a fence or the time a dog would need, so that is something for the future. I think snails (real ones) are adorable- when I was a teen I had a pet one for several years. If I find them in my little mint patch I move them gently over into the clover.

I love to sew and sculpt and draw. I have a serious weakness for stuffed animals- my current favorite is a tiny stuffed hedgehog that a dear friend gave me. My current favorite color is forest green.

I really think Wish Upon a Hero is an amazing site, and I'm happy to have found it. It is very inspiring to see all the love and kindness here.

I believe that good deeds and kind words truly can change the world, and that every good deed makes the world a little better, just as every harm that is done diminishes us all a little. I hope that when I leave this world behind, (hopefully a long long time from now) that it will have become a little better and a little wierder because of me.
