About Me
I am a mother of 4 children, ages 17, 14, 12, and 2. I have been married for 17 years and am currently actively pursuing a bachelors degree in accounting. I am in my 3rd year now going part time as my responsibilities as a mother come first.
I am a very happy person who finds joy in most anything unless stressed. I love music and I play guitar for a hobby. My other hobbies include attending my kids sports events and gardening. During the past several months, I have picked up a new favorite hobby: Granting Wishes.
I am a very giving person, probably too much so as I have been taken advantage of many times in my life. I am the kind of person to give the shirt off my back or even my last dollar. I don't think this is a good quality but it's me.
I have met some of the most amazing people through WUAH and some have even become dear friends who I will cherish for a lifetime.
I am the kind of person who looks for the good in everything even when life is at its toughest-I guess you could say, I always see the cup half full, not half empty even when I am facing major struggles.
I have very high hopes for 2010 and I hope everyone has the best year/decade ever.
I have been very blessed. Yes, I live paycheck to paycheck and it is challenging but God generally provides me with what I need for survival and that in itself is a blessing. All 4 of my children are beautiful, healthy and smart and I have the greatest cat in the world...Alex!! He is also my baby and just turned 16 April 23, 2009-you would never know it as he acts and runs like a kitten.
One last thing about me, I try to live my life in honor of the serenity prayer.
"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
May God bless each and everyone of you always!
