About Me

My name is Brandi and I am from Ohio. I am a 2010 graduate from The University of Akron with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering and am currently a Post-Undergrad at Kent State University studying Architecture and Environmental Design. My dream job is to work for a design-build company that specializes in custom homes. I want to design, schedule, price out all the options, as well as manage the project.

The housing market is not good where I live, so I am currently working retail to pay my way through school. Unfortunately, on December 29, 2011, I received the news that the Kmart I work at will be closing. I have been with the company for 11 years.

My biggest wish right now would be for the economy to get better and that everyone looking for work will be able to find a job. I never thought I would be needing to look for a new job this soon.
