About Me

I am battling cancer one day at a time since 2008. I have cancer of the bladder, kidneys, stomach, and I found out New Year's Day 2012 that I have bone cancer in my hips. I will one day loose my battle with cancer but not today or tomorrow. Life goes on and I am not going to stop living as good as a life as I possible can.
I will be 60 years old in August.
I love to take long rides in the country on the back roads, I love pinic's, reading a good book, listening to easy listening & gospel music, my favorite gospel singer is Bill Gaither and his shows with all the different gospel singers, I like to do all kinds of crafts, I love to make and send greeting cards, I am a volunteer for my Hospice Home Health, last year I was volunteer of the year. I have 8 furbabies, 6 cats, Meow, Sassy, Simon, Sunny, Topaz,and Antonio(I found her San Antonio Texas at a roadside park someone had thrown her in a trash can while I was there on vacation)I have 2 dogs Sweetie she is a chihuahua and will be 20 years old in August who is my heart and my little shadow and Charro is a corgie. All of my animals are recuses expect for Sweetie. All of my animals have been fixed.
I am rasing 6 of my God Children who really keep me on my toes and they are the loves of my life. 4 girls and 2 boys.
We live a very happy simple life. We are very Blessed we have a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, shoes on our feet, food in our tummy's and a warm place to sleep. We never complain about what we don't have and give God the prasie for what we do have. If it is meant for us to have it God will make away for us to have it.
My goal for myself is one day to own a electric scooter to ride on the Natchez Trace(which is 4 miles from my house) to enjoy the the paeaceful scences and to see the wildlife.
