Hi,I have been on this site since Oct 2009 and really am glad I found it.
I only can work part time due to a severe arthritis in my left knee and lower back and had a knee replacement in Aug 2010 . My left knee is still very painful at times. I also have a slight head tremor from cervical dystonia and it is embarrasing at times! I love helping folks, always have even as a child. I have quite a bit of free time on my hands as my boys are both grown. One just got out of the Airforce and is going to live there in Tampa and came for a visit in July 2010. The other lives close but just doesn't seem to have much time to come and see me. I get very lonely and miss them so much as I also have no grandchildren. I guess children don't realize how much some parents really miss them when they are grown. I cherish every year I did when they were growing up and hope others will with their little ones, they grow up so fast. I work a few hours a week at our nearby Target dept store as a cashier.
I reunited with an old boyfriend from 36 years ago in 2009 over the internet and moved back to New York, from Vermont, I lived there for 10 years. We have 5 kittie fur babies. They are Lois, Rupert, Stewie and Maggie who is 10 and Tweek our new kitten. They are all very fat and spoiled!
I get great joy in any little help I can do for folks, as I don't have much money but help as much as I can!
This has made a big difference in my lonelines of my boys since I joined this wonderful site! I love doing crafts and making things, especially Xmas ornaments and cards for the kids.
