About Me

I am a 58yr old disabled grandmother who has the honor of raising a beautiful granddaughter with disabilities. She does not recieve SS or SSI. Her nickname is "Firefly" She is developmentally delayed, she suffers from both absent seizures during the day and full blown seizures during sleep. She gets sick every time the weather changes. But she always has a smile, a hug, an I Love You. She has suffered many loses during her short life and was a victim of domestic abuse. She has a heart as big as the moon & stars. Her favorite charity is The Domestic Violence Intervention services, every year as part of her Christmas she adopts one child to give what she can of hers and saves her money throughout the year. Even the smallest of things will bring a beautiful smile to her face, she lights up a room with her soft spoken words, her eyes light up and she smiles. Even in the bleakest of times she dares to dream. Given the difficult circumstances she has to live under, she always says one day things will get better. She is my heart, and I am so blessed to have her as a part of my life. We are Blessed to have Hero's on this site who have brought so many smiles with mail and small packages to her very secluded life. God Bless to All who have made that smile possible.
