About Me

I am 42 and live in a small town in Massachusetts with my mom. I quit my job several years ago to take care my father who was very ill for a long time. After he passed away, I put myself through nursing school. I am currently working as an wound certified RN at a wound healing center at a local hospital and working towards paying off my debts and helping my mom to pay off those left by my father.

I volunteer as a fundraiser for the volunteer fire department here in my town, foster puppies and do home visits for Lucky Pup Rescue based out of Kennebunkport, Me, send letters and care packages to troops deployed over seas for Aunt Nancy's Project, raise funds for JDRF to help find a cure for diabetes, and am a member of the historical society.

The Lord has never blessed me with my dream of being a mother to a large family, so my intention is to become a foster mom once I am out of debt. I figure I am simply a Mom with no kids, and there are many kids who need a mom. Maybe that was His plan all along.

Anyway, I try to make a difference in this world every way I can. I hope to be able to help spread some smiles and relieve some burdens as a member here.
