About Me
My name is Felicia and I'm 21 years old. My story begins on May 24, 2010. I gave birth to my first son Zayne. I was overjoyed by his birth but a few weeks later his father decided to go to New York and quit his job. We split up and I made the decision to go on as a single mother to benefit my angel. I enrolled in college and began preparing for my degree in medical office assisting.
My life was going great and in December my ex boyfriend, Justin, that I had been on and off with for 9 years came back to South Carolina from Virginia where he was in the military. We instantly realized how much we loved each other still and he fell in love with my son. After a lovely month together he returned to VA to honor his obligations to our country. We got engaged and had plans on him moving back down here and becoming a family together.
On March 4, 2011 I got a phone call that Justin had passed away the night before. The same day I got a positive pregnancy test. My first son was only 9 months old & I was faced with a very tough decision. Ultimately I decided to hold on to the last piece of our love Justin left behind. I had to take a break from school and then work because my pregnancy was so rough I remained on bedrest for most of it.
On September 13, 2011 I gave birth to Jaycen Nicholas. I will receive benefits for him but it takes 3 months to get an approval for a DNA test then 6 weeks after that to begin getting the benefits. I know my situation could be so much worse but I'm having a hard time financially. I currently live with my parents who just lost their income so they help as much as they can but I just need a little help up on my feet.
