I would like to tell you a little about myself from age 3 mths -15 yrs I was in and out of foster care. My father is P.R and that time he could not speak or understand english,my mother was /is still sick with a mental illness. I don't even know where she is. she was abusive to me in every way possible you can imagine which cause damage, I now wear hearing aids,have a learning disability from being in the system taught to become a strong person. I was also a sick child I have really bad asthma was in the nursing home for 2 years I alsmost died twice. I also suffer from P.T.S.D. Growing up people use to always tell me about religions so since maybe 6 I use to pray every night and still this day do. God has always been there for me and I teach my children as well. I also just had knee surgery 7 wks ago. I have 6 children all my own. 5 have a genetic gene called bipolarwhich is a mental illness that probaly cam from my mother. my oldest son has been hospitalized 18 times,my 2 others once and my oldest daughter twice she is was presently in the hospital.My oldest child along with my past to try and chang some things in the system.I use work up to a 1 1/2 ago for almost 11 years that has helped families of children with social and emotional concerns.I had helped parents everyway possibleto keep their children at home safe. Things that had done was find homes for them,parenting training,listen to them,given them food,clothing, taught to never give up,every year I use to give 44 people christmas some of these families never had christmas and my children would help donate thier time every christmas. and there is so much more and even though I don't work I still do this. as you seen in my story above I am truly bless and god only knows and he has many plans for me he shows me where to walk and gives me my strength for every step.
