Hey!! Im a mom of three wonderful children. The little troopers and I have been through a mountain of challenges yet somehow we are able to stand together and fight each battle with all our might.

A little back story... I am a foster child as my parents just couldnt take care of me....i began to get into trouble and defy all rules around me... I then became pregnant with my first so, 12 now.... Ii settled down and began living to support him. I had my second son, 9 now, and went back to school. Although I was unable to use my education I still continued to support my kids. I then met a man who changed our lives forever. It was an extremely violent scary situation that went on for many years....untill I was blessed with my daughter.... After many attempts of him trying to kill both me and my unborn child I finally had decided my life was worth living. My abuser is now in prison and we have been safe for three years.

Unfortunately it has left my son with severe ptsd and extreme night terrors. But we are all pitching in to support him anyway we can

On november 4th 2011, we lost my 24y/o brother (my childrens only male role model) to a motorcycle accident. This destroyed my whole family. Depression set in and life didnt feel like living anymore....

But then....i remembered how sad my brother would be if I gave up the fight now... So after losing my job and nearly our apartment I began to strive hard to live again.

I reconnected with an old boyfriend from 17 years ago and he has been the savior we all needed.

We found this site and had all intentions of getting help with a service dog for my son with ptsd....well things have changed.

He wants to be a hero to 100 people before the end of summer! So leys do it. Now mind you we are broke...but somehow we have been able to help three people already. This just may be what he needed to help him through his ptsd!!!
