About Me

My name is Lori, I am a single mother of my beautiful 10 year old daughter (who will be 11 in less than a month), and I am also the legal guardian of my 14 year old sister (I became her guardian when I was 18 years old - 13 years ago), due to drug use and legal issues involving my parents. Tragically my daughters father (my high school sweetheart and only man I have ever loved) was involved in a horrific car accident, he did luckily survive, but I came to realize that he also was heavily involved in drugs and that is what caused his accident. I am financially, emotionally and physically drained. I am in dire need of help with just about everything. I feel terrible posting this information because I know that there are many people in the world that are in far worse situations, I am just at a low that I have never experienced (rent is behind, electric is on the verge of disconnection, and my girls deserve so much more than I am able to provide). I try to stay positive. I know things will work out, I just don't see how. If I can get a little help, I will promise to pay it forward.
