About Me

I am a 30-yr-old stay-at-home mom, and wife to a wonderful, hard-working husband who is also a great dad. We have a three- year-old daughter named Bethany, and a baby boy named Judah, born April 16th of this year. We are recent transplants to New England; I grew up in Georgia and my husband grew up in Indiana. We moved here after college with nothing but the shirts on our backs and a few small boxes of bits of life left over from our college days, loaded into our '95 Ford Escort that we drove 1400 miles northward from Florida in October of 2004. We eventually settled into life here; my husband got a job at Home Depot (now he works at an airplane parts factory, which pays just a little better, lol) and we found a place to live, etc. We're doing ok. The recession really took a toll on our finances recently, though.
Fun facts about me...I love music; I sing and for awhile I taught a music class for homeschoolers; I also teach voice lessons for adults. I homeschool our daughter; she'll be three on June 1st and loves her "fun school" preschool work! :) We plan on homeschooling all our children, thru high school. We are a Christian family. My husband and I love freshwater fishing...although I haven't been able to do much of that, since we started having kids. lol Anyway that's all I can think of for right now...and this has taken up enough space! :)
