Kevin Luxon, family first - ALWAYS:
Hard work, no excuses, no regrets. My ideal job would be mentoring young mothers. I was lucky enough to study at the University of Arizona with a minor in "Family Studies". I chose that emphasis because what matters in life is family, character, community.
I dedicated my life to being the best father I could be. My children are honor students, respectful, and independent. There is not a college degree, job, or personal achievement that is more rewarding than knowing your children had loving and caring parents, not a buddy. I want to share techniques, strategies, and methods with young struggling mothers.
I have found drop outs, drug attics, and women from dysfunctional families become moms and I see the pain and worry in their eyes. Even worse, I see that some of these moms don't even try. Imagine if you could enrich young mothers with the tools, confidence and pride in being a mother. When teachers, parents, peers, adults, and strangers go out of their way to say how wonderful your children are, nothing and I mean nothing is more rewarding.
My advice, you can raise your children to become the best human beings they can possibly be. However, be responsible and sacrifice to provide for all their emotional and financial needs. Remember, they grow up quickly and will soon be in college. SAVE MONEY NOW. I will live with simplicity and sacrifice until both my children are finished with college.
