I am 53 years old. I have two adult children and one teenager still at home. I have four grand kids I have been married for 35 years. Both my parents are deceased. My mother died when I was 17, and my father left so I had to go to work to feed myself and my little sister. A few years ago I had stomach surgery and it went wrong. I now can't absorb nutrition and now I am having organ failure. Last year my sister (the one I took care of when momma died) died. Between my illness and the depression I was deemed disabled and put on disability. I need to stress my husband works very hard. He is a mechanic and works 60 hours a week. I am very lucky because I have a great family. I live in a humble home in Mississippi. I have an older car, but it's paid for. We don't have everything we want, but God blesses us with our needs. My daughter is my best friend. I live a simple life but a good one. My greatest wish in life is that no one should ever go hungry or homeless in this great country. As for me and my house, we beleive in God, Country and ourselves. We share what we have and are thankful.
