About Me

I am a single disabled Mama to a beautiful 8 year old daughter and a sweet 4 yr old boy. My son has been through many severe medical issues in his short life and his Dr's still aren't sure of the extent of his problems. He maintains his happy personality throughout endless testing that will continue with no end in sight. My daughter has had to miss out on alot due to her brother's medical needs, and I just want her to feel as special as she really is. Now, she has some medical issues of her own that are causing her to miss alot of school. She misses her teachers and friends but always manages to keep a smile on her face and is more concerned with everyone around her being happy than with her own situation and feelings. She is an excellent student and works hard to learn anything she puts her mind to. I am so proud of my children. I went through 15 years of infertility before I was finally blessed, first with my daughter and (following the loss of my first son due to premature birth at 21 weeks), then with my miracle boy four years later. I do everything in my power to keep them both as happy and healthy as possible. They are my life.
