About Me

I am a mother to three handsome sons and a wife of a soldier in the US Army. We have traveled and lived all over the United States, thanks to the military. We also lived in Germany and loved the country to no end! We really miss it there and one day hope to visit it again. I always felt that I had a purpose in life to help people in need, I just didn't know how and when it would happen, until I came "upon" this wonderful site. My life as a child, as I once was told, could be put into a story. You see, I grew up on the Navajo reservation and experienced poverty. Sure we were loved and cherished by our mother, but we had no presence of a father and thus had no financial stability. I learned very quickly at a very young age the meaning of sharing, the meaning of the human spirit, and the meaning of being humble. I also learned a lot from my grandfather, alongside an uncle, those lessons in life. They were the only male figures in my life and I was so lucky to have them. Our imaginations took us far and our creativity took us into a world full of art! I don't look back on my childhood as a burden, I only look at it as an experience to help myself become a better person in this world and how I can somehow change it for someone and make it better for them.
