for homeschooling supplies for my autistic son

Granted by Heroes: wuahCAFE, ladyfee
Hi everyone. I want to thank everyone who has helped me. I really appreciate everything. I have a special wish. My son Simon has autism and he hasn't been doing well in school. He has been being sent home, by security. He is only six. I am terrified for his emotional well being, he looks like he is being sent home in a cop car or something, and he is so upset when he gets home. I want to homeschool him. He just doesn't do. Over the Christmas Break, I gave him as much homeschooling as I could, as a trial to see how he would do. he showed great promise, and we had very few outbursts. I was easily able to notice when he was getting upset or frustrated. I need a ciriculum and supplies, and I desperatly need a new printer so I can go online and print out some learning materials, and a table and chair that is just for work time. Thank you for any help you can offer.

The first thing on my wishlist is here -

The second thing on my list -

The third is -

http://www.amazon.com/Golden-Book-Fa...

And
http://www.amazon.com/Crayola-240-Sh...

Also I made a walmart wishlist and the ID is

Registry ID
26770032027

I really want Simon to feel special, and to feel a strong sense of accomplishment in life. I can use any help with any of these items so we can get right on homeschooling our beautiful and sweet son.

We will keep your son and family in our prayers. We have a 6 yr old son who has Aspergers Syndrome, and can greatly relate to what you described above. Good luck finding heroes, and God bless :)

hello, good luck...don't know if you have heard of currclick, it is an online resource for homeschooling...they sell anything you need and right now they have a book for free about homeschooling your special needs child...they also have a huge selection of free things. also, in the hands of a child is a good resource (i used lapbooks for my nephew who has sensory disorder), homeschooling today has good information...if you want more low cost/free supplies, let me know, i have a very small budget but homeschooling can be done that way...hope this helps!!!!!! good luck
