My husband and I both recently found ourselves unemployed. I was previously employed as a bartender, and was able to have more freedom with my appearance than most other jobs that work with the public. I now find myself with black hair, and very long blond roots, and two facial piercings that I need to conceal. Please do not advise me to take out my facial piercings. They are very small, and discreet, and very much a part of my personal expression. My wish is for funds to buy two retainers for my piercings ( I will take them out if an employer asks, but I am trying very hard to avoid this), and more importantly funds to purchase a bleaching kit and supplies to henna my hair so that it is an even and natural color. I ask for these things so that I can be confident and have a much, much better chance to become employed.
The retainers will cost roughly $15-$20 dollars for both
Supplies for my hair will cost roughly $40.
