For Petfood for my Cat Max

Granted by Heroes: OmaTrisha
I am a displaced widow with very limited income. I need some Catfood for my Siamese Cat Max. He throughs up sometimes (I believe from hairballs possibly), so he can't eat just any kind of catfood. I noticed at Costco they do sell a large bag of dry catfood with hairball formula, it is about $18.00 + tax. I try to brush his fur daily. He likes to chew on things, so he would like a cat toy or maybe some petgrass? Any kind of help would make him a happy cat and would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless You!
I do have paypal: dollsrus45@yahoo.com

I added enough to your Paypal account for food and even a treat or two. I have cats with sensitive tummies, too, and their food is way more than what you're paying! God bless you. Pet that boy for me.

Faith, Call concern for animals in Olympia, they have a pet food bank that can help you and it's premium (good quality) food. That way they can help you close to home. They also help with spay or neuter in case Max needs help with that too. :)

With what I sent, you should be able to get a few cans of food as well. Then again if it's a nice toy, it can be expensive. Our cats just tear the toys up so we get the cheaper ones.

xealia: it amazes me that cats have lived and are living now on dry food without any adverse reactions if dry food is as bad for them as you suggest. My vet recommends dry food. I have one cat who won't eat anything else. In fact, dry food is far better for their teeth than canned food since it helps prevent tartar buildup. It also keeps down bad breath. As for water, a cat's system is made for preserving fluid - this is why they urinate so infrequently and the urine is so concentrated. Lions and other predatory cats can, in fact, get all their fluid requirements from their prey animals if their diet is sufficient to meet their caloric needs.
We all have different opinions and preferences. Please refrain from judging wishers or saying that what they want is bad. That is not our place.

My Cat Max will do great with the dry catfood with Hairball formula from Costco, thanks to OmaTrisha :-) I will be able to get Max a Cat toy, too. Thank you so much.
Now I just need to be able to purchase him some canned catfood, as he eats dry catfood and canned catfood: Fancy Feast, his favorite is Tender Liver w/Chicken and Savory Salmon.

Your cat could possibly have a food allergy. I HIGHLY recommend removing the dry cat food from his diet completely. Cats need high water content food and dry food is terrible for their system (dogs too). If you cannot afford a raw meat diet (with bulk freezing and great discounts you can make it work for $20ish a month) I highly recommend finding a canned cat food with no grains like wheat, rice, not veggies none of that cats are strict carnavors. Also be sure to brush your cats teeth (or attempt to) the raw bones are really great for keeping their teeth clean!
