Hello, my name is Jamie. I am 26 yrs old and i have 2 amazing
daughters that are my world one is 7 months and the other will be
eight june 24th. I have always been a hard working single mother i
went to vocational school to give me and my daughter a better life
and recieved a degree for dental assisting. I worked as a dental
assistant for 6 years until when i was pregnant with my 2nd
daughter i fell off my porch and was put on bedrest, whitch wasnt
too bad i had some money put away and i planned on going back to
work after my delivery. The nurse at the hospita noticed a growth
on my back that had been there for years and other doctors told me
not to worry about it and told me i really needed to get it checked
again. When my daughter was 2months old i went to a surgeon who
sched me three days later for a biopsy.On dec 23rd i recieved the
news that the mass was cancerous and i would have to have more
invasivesurgery. My last surgery was in febuary 2012 and due to the
amout of tissue removed i was left with severy nerve damage and
back and leg spasms. while trying to recover and care for my infant
and child i fell down the stairs due to a spasm andruptured 3
disks. The doctor at the er told me i would need pain management to
help me cope and i should go ahead and file for disability because
i would not be able to comfortably perform normal tasks. I am in
the middle of filing for ssd but my utilities are sched for
disconnect totalling 792.00 and i have no more money put away so i
am more scared then i was when i found out i had cancer. i have
contacted all local agencies and they are out of funds i do recieve
food stamps but thats doesnt help with diapers, wipes, clothing or
bills. please help me i hate to have to ask but i just dont know
where else to turn
