For Cards, Letters and Little Things For My 13 Year Old Sister

I have a 13 year old sister named Katie. This wish is for her. Katie has a type of epilepsy. She is going to have be put in the hospital for 3 days for monitoring. She will be hooked up to an EEG and video taped for three days straight. She can not take it off or leave. She is quite scared and nervous. I am asking for cards and letters of encouragement and inspiration. I am asking for little things that she would be able to take and do at the hospital, kind of like during a road trip. She goes into the hospital on June 11th. I am trying to collected all that I can before she goes in and when she gets all situated in the hospital I plan on bring everything to her at once. Please help bring a smile to my little sister in her time of need.

    I'll send your sister a card. I have epilepsy and have had to be in a monitoring unit before so I can somewhat relate to what she is feeling and going through.

Sorry I saw this so late. My daughter is also 13 and has epilepsy. We have done countless EEGs and all kinds of other testing. It breaks my heart but she is so strong. I know how you must feel. I wish I could take them away from her. I feel helpless but God love my Lyssi, she is a trooper! I think my Lyss and your sister Katie should talk. I think it would be good for them to have someone their age to relate to. And God bless you for thinking of your sister!

Nice wish for your sister and so kind and thoughtful. My little 8 yr old granddaughter just had to go through all that the 3 day hospital EEG, she id on medication now tht helps her. She still zones our during the day which is what they call absent seizures. Please send me her mailing address and i will get a card in the mail to her. Be strong sweetie doctors have come very far in detecting and streating seizures. I look at my miracle very day as she stumbles out of bed God Bles you for thinkning of your sister
