My daughter Ashley is 15 but mentally tested as an 8 yr old,Ashley is so special,unlike teens her age,she is not into music,make-up or boys,she is into toys,her fave. is glittery items,or slimy,you see Ashley has autism,she may not see the world as you and I do,but maybe that is better,she sees the innocent,while we see the violence.she is going in the 9th grade but on 3rd grade level.I am a disabled single mom of 5 girls,money is so tight,just feeding them,is a struggle.I have been reading everywhere how Ipads really help children who is autistic,it improves their communication skills by 70% that is huge,considering Ashley will not talk much at all,and forget strangers,talking to her speech therapist is like pulling teeth. there are many ,many apps,that can help her learn on this,I want to give my daughter every possible chance in this world,to help her.thank you very,very much.
