In August of 2009, my son Ramon Roman Jr. 16, was fatally shot n the front of my home in the city of Camden. Since his tragic loss, we have become passionate advocates in the city of Camden to stop the violence and mentor young men.

The Lion of Judah Church Man-Up basketball mentoring program was established in March of 2010. Man-Up basketball league was formed to assist and cultivate young men ages 12-19 on how to become respectable christian young men in today's society while keeping them off the streets. We honor Ray's memory by hosting a Ray's Youth Summer Basketball League & Tournament in his name.

The league runs for 8 weeks from 6/30-8/25. Since we've started the most important items we need are table top flip score boards and a clock to keep track of amount of time left in each quarter. I've included links to the items needed that can be purchased online. We appreciate any help to make this year's league a success and run as smooth as possible.
