Missing my little man who went to heaven

My son, Billy, passed away just short of turning 12. (12/28/98-12/23/10). He was living with his father when he was found on his knees with a belt around his neck, unresponsive. It was ruled as, "the choking game". I was not aloud at the funeral due to the father, and step mother's threats to me. Me and my children never got to say our goodbyes to him that day. I have no closure, neither does my oldest son, who was billy's best friend, as well as brother. We raised the money for his beautiful headstone, but we have never seen it. We live in ohio, and my son is buried in nebraska, thanks to the ruling of a small nebraska court. We would like to go out there, and vistit the headstone, and take flowers to him. We are not getting any help from anywherer to make this happen, and I cry nearly every night now. Despite the fact that a year and half has went past. It feels like yesterday to me. Please help us by donating. We will need to figure out round trip there and back, hotel while we are there, transportation while we are there, and cash on hand. Thank you so much! If anyone would even want to donate a pre-paid visa card you can get at just about any store, that would be just as good. I can use that to get us there. If someone would like to donate items, I can try to raise the money locally. Any help at all, is better then no help.

the only time we were able to go there, was a few months after he passed away, and there was a temporary marker there. We got to nebraska, our ride fell through. We were 5 hours away from where he was buried, and had no way to get any where. We found an agency there that paid for a grey hound to take us there and back. And paid for a hotel for the night. Their cabs service there are not cheap. :(

Thank you everyone! He is always in my heart. I keep him with me every where I go. I say prayers every night, and I talk to him every night. I have so much guilt, that I wasn't there to help him, that I didn't know... I try to figure out how to go on living now, it is not something I have figured out how to do. I was strong for so long, but I feel more and more depressed as time goes on. All I have left is a box of his personal items I have kept from when he was a baby on up...His pictures he made me, his boy scout uniform, awaerds that he won, letters he wrote me..:( I miss him so much!! He was one of a kind boy!! And I will continue to tell people all about my Billy, till the day I meet him in heaven!!

You have my sympathy. I pray God will open a way for you to visit your son's grave. You hav errected a beautiful monument, and hope that is some comfort to you.
