My son will be 16 on July 13. I am a single mother and work 4 jobs to make house payments and put food on the table for my son.I do not get any type of state help, food stamps,etc. They say I make to much for a family of two.I dont know how they can say that when I have house payments,car insurance,house insurance,food bills,clothing bills etc.
His father has been out of his life for two years now with no contact from him. I am always at work trying to make ends meet and all my son would like for his birthday is a trip to the wis.dells water parks or tickets to the rockfest concert in cadott,wi. I can not afford much, but if I buy tickets to either of these places I will not have enough money for food, lodging or gas. I so wish to put a little happiness in this boys heart.He is an excellent student,all around wonderful kid. No drinking, drugs or smoking.I am so proud of him for what he has become even if he had to become a man sooner than most his age.He is the man of the house now and deserves a little fun time in his teenage years. He does have a part time job and most of his money is in a saving acct for futher schooling. He doesnt ask for much but I would love to give him something special for his 16th. Please help me give my son alittle something special.He hasnt had much to look forward to these days.
