My Son Really Needs His Own Bedroom

My son is 13 years old and shares a room with his twin brothers that our 10 years old. They have the master bedroom because there are 3 of them. My 13 taer old suffers from ODD and ADHD. Also one of the twins suffers from ADHD. They fight all the time. My 13 year old needs his own space. I feel sooo bad for him because he has to share his things, but his stuff ends up being broke. I need help to add on a room off of the master bedroom. I want to do 3 walls and a roof. Put it on the existing patio. I just don't know how and money is very slim. I need help with both. I don't even know how much it will cost. Please somebody, help my son so he can have his own space.

Tried the bookshelves, but the twins would throw things over and would set my 13 year old off. I have 4 kids. My 3 boys share the master bedroom, my daughter has one room and my husband and I have the other. They just fight over everything!! The games, TV. I jusr need help to build a wall or a room. Somebody could even just show me or tell me. Please help this desperate mom to help her son

In the meantime, if you can get your hands on some bookshelves, put them up as a divider of sorts. This way he'll have his own corner of the room. Or you can hang a sheet from a curtain rod suspended from the ceiling by plant hooks - the ones with the anchors on them to keep the plant from pulling the hook down. I did the bookcase thing for my daughters. It didn't stop all the fighting but it did help.

Ohhh hun, I hope you find a hero! I know how it is with children needing their space! My two girls share a room, and my oldest daughter Hailey is a girly girl, while my youngest daughter Emily is VERY much a tomboy. They fight all of the time when Emily's Batman stuff crosses over into "Princess Land" corner of the bedroom! Best of luck, and prayers your way! Mindy xoxo
