Ty to all who answered and sent this soldier cards and care packages, you all rule! I hope that you will stay in contact! They really need your help over there..even a card every now and then will brighten their days! Thanks and god bless!

Valerie, I am another one who should have read the comments. I then would have seen the address. Maybe you could let me know if he would like toiletries or food so we could send him a care package.

Michael L. Jacobs II, Captain of Armor, will board a plane at Fort Bliss Texas for Bagdad Iraq. This will be his 3rd tour in Iraq. He will be there until January, or longer if the State Department and the Iraq government agree to keep US Troops in country longer. If the Regiment is pulled from Iraq they will deploy to Afghanistan for the remainder of their 12 month combat tour.

Michael in the Commanding Officer of D Company, 4th Battalion-6rh Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division. Two Platoons of Tanks and one Platoon of Vehicle mounted Infantry. His call sign is “Demon 6â€. He loves his job!!

Best guess that his Battalion will be deployed NE of Bagdad between Bagdad and the Iraq-Iran border.

Lets try to get these guys some cards and letters in the mail! Its not a lot to ask for , especially for someone that has served and continues to serve our great nation. I may not have much, but I'm alive and support our soldiers. Thanks and God Bless you guys! Pass on the address and write , write, write! Even post cards with a simple hello and thanks!
