My Son Had A 100 Dollar Gift Card For School Clothes

My family has had a rough time of it this summer. My mother was laid off and can't find work. She is 66. I'm a single father age 42 and also cannot find work. Because of this we are behind in rent and electric and are more or less hanging by a thread. There is a school registration fee that i am trying to get together but my son also needs clothing to start his junior year of high school. He is over 6 foot and has grown out of all his clothing. I've provided a picture of him. I am hoping to get a gift card for him for Wal Mart or Target for 100 dollars. School starts on August 20th. Please help us. We are in a very bad place. We have been going to a flea market every weekend trying to sell everything of worth we own in over 100 degree temperatures but no one is biting. We need a miracle now so we don't fall though the cracks. Thank you in advance.

    Glad you found some heroes this time. I bought a few things from your list and added a pack of boxer briefs. Hopefully he can wear that type or you can exchange them. Just tell him it was what an old lady thinks teen boys wear these days, but who knows? LOL

and yes boxer briefs are what my son wears. yesterday i tried adding some and it didn't take. today it did. you don't know how much your generosity has brightened up our lives. no matter where we turned there was another pitfall. this is a much needed relief. thank you! thank you! thank you!

he needs pants, shorts and socks bad but he was also asking for a hoodie and would like the avengers, spock and woody woodpecker shirts most of the shirts on there i believe. he needs underwear bad too but every time i tried to add some to the list it wouldn't let me. i don't know why.

btw i'm not even sure of his sizes. i guessed at 32 x 32 on pants shorts and large to extra large mens for shirts. i'm pretty weird about giving my exact address out to people with all the craziness going on in the world these days.

I'm sorry that happened to you, sometimes I guess the person doesn't follow through for some reason. The wishlist is just one of the ways I see wishes get filled, either that or if you have PayPal, that individual heroes can contribute through. You also might want to post the sizes he needs in case some heroes have gently used items in those sizes. I have found a lot of times you can get new items with the free site to store, for almost what the shipping would cost for sending items you might already have.

You can also list the sizes your son needs if you'd be willing to accept gently used items. This way, if any heroes have those sizes they might be able to offer that way. Hope you find your heroes.
