I am the mother of two special needs children in a 100% disabled
household we get by on very little but manage to keep happy with
all the love we have. My son Jeffery will be turning 12 years old
on September 29th 2012 he has Down Syndrome & Autism
it’s very difficult to keep him entertained
most of what we own he is bored with I have made a Jeffery friendly
list on walmart.com and placed it on here for those who cannot or
choose not to use the list on there he loves yarn, socks, preschool
books, puzzles (25 pieces -100pieces) , flash cards and anything
educational basic preschool programming and cartoons are what he
enjoys in free time and he absolutely loves Mardi Gras beads and
his new thing is the yo gabba gabba show on nick jr although he
loves The Wiggles, Blue’s Clues, and a few
others as well, we try to limit the amount he watches and have been
trying to get him more into the hands on activities such as crafts,
books, puzzles, and the flashcards all previously mentioned above.
Jeffery is a very loving affectionate child he loves hugs, his
favorite colors are darker colors such as: black, dark greens and
darker blues. Any candy or snacks sent need to be sugar free and
low sodium due to dietary restrictions and health conditions, his
favorite snacks are any of the Russell Stover Sugar free Candies
(except the toffee) and he absolutely loves reduced fat cheese-its
and no salt pretzels and or no salt crackers of any kind our family
will appreciate anything you can send to Jeffery and he will of
course love anything he receives thank you for taking the time to
view, read and possibly even helping to grant this wish for my baby
boy we love him so very much and he and his sister are the center
of our entire world thank you again for your time and considering
us in your thoughts.
