Currently, my family and I are struggling. I have been sick, and my husband was recently in a car accident. I am extremely worried about providing the bare necessities for my family which brings me to my wish. I am wishing for birthday cards for both of my kids. My daughter will be 10 on August 26th. My son recently turned 11, and although is birthday is already passed I am wishing for him too. I couldn't afford a birthday party for him so I know belated birthday cards would make him so happy. I had planned on having them both a double birthday party on my daughters birthday. Unfortunately, my financial situation has just gotten worse so I don't see it happening.

I feel horrible that I can't even afford to buy my kids a single birthday present. They are both very understanding even though this will be the first year that either of my kids will not have a party. I have always been able to atleast have a small party with immediate family, cake, and icecream. Since they are a little older now they have tried to make me feel better about my not giving them the birthdays that I usually do. They do understand that right now paying the bills has to come first.

I would really appreciate anyone who can send my kids a birthday card (and perhaps a dollar to buy something small). Both of my kids are very kind, and I am sure that simply getting a card in the mail will make their day. Neither of them ever get anything in the mail so I know that they will be so surprised and excited to actually have something addressed to them. Thanks again everyone.
