MS cooling vest

My husband was diagnosed with MS 2 years ago and Sarcodosis 1.5 years ago, life has been a struggle. WEe have 4 children 13,12,10 and 4, it has been very hard to explain all of this to the children and have them fully understand. Anyways, lately my husbands MS has gotten worse and where we live the weather plays a huge role in how he feels. The humidity where we live is horrible and he works outside upto 12-13 hours a day, I am wanting to get him a cooling vest to wear while he is working to help keep him cool and so it doesn't flare his MS. I have found one I would really like to get him, that he can wear under his clothing to keep it discreet. The cost of it is over $400 and we just don't have the funds for that right now. I would appreciate any help we could receive in my getting this for him. Thank you

I am sooooo unbelievably thankful for this site. I have been stressing our for quite some time on how to get my husband a cooling vest, I was told by a dear friend about this site and shortly after joining I received a message from someone saying they voted for our wish for the August TeamWish and it was accepted. I recently found out that our wish won first place and was granted in full. I can not express the gratitude I have for this, it is a huge blessing for him. I can't wait to get it and give it to him. Thank you so much for giving such wonderful opprotunities to everyone in need. I also love that I have been able to help by granting others wishes and look forward to continuing to help the best I can.

When a hero "favorites" your wish, they save it in their own folder so they can keep checking on it. Sometimes a wish is favorited so that heroes can check around and see what they can do to help before making a comment or offer. It is a good thing! :)

I hope you find your cooling heroes. I have a friend with MS and I know how it affects her when she gets overheated.
