Cupcake Dreams!

Dear Hero's. Thank you for the positive messages and thoughts. Just one month ago I was broke and without electricity. I landed a part-time job and was able to get the power turned on with my first pay check.
While looking for work I tried absolutely everything. I am a baker and started using my neighbors to bake cupcakes for the summer childrens program. One of the parent's owns an large business. They offered me a weekly job baking, bread, cakes and cupcakes. I was so excited I went home to create a new recipies for this project. On my first attempt my 1960's MixMaster blew up.
I am in desperate need of a stand mixer.
I can make it on my own and keep my bills paid, with your help.
Please keep this baker cooking. I promise to make the best cakes and cupcakes ever and who knows the dream of my own bakery just might come true.

What a hero! Shopping for the best mixer, dealing with sellers, and communicating with me the entire time. I will never be able to put into words how I feel. The mixer was so desperately needed, I realise now that a perfect stranger can believe in my dream and give me the boost I needed to continue working to grab my dream.
Thank you so much. I know you are a wonderful person and you should know that I want to pass on the good feeling by working harder to create a successful baking company, but also trying to help other on my way.
I will never forget your act of kindness! There will be a little extra love in each treat I bake.

Thank you mommie817. I am really hoping my wish comes true too. It's really exciting that only a month ago I couldn't even figure out how to turn my electric power back on. I have a great opportunity to keep myself above water. As I said in my earlier comment I will mix my batters with a spoon if I have to. I will not let this opportunity pass me by. I feel like I get to start my life over, one cupcake at a time....

I couldn't get a reference number to place in the required spot. I wrote in stand up mixer. Probably not my best plan, but I really wanted to get my wish posted. I am still trying to keep working with my silly old handheld beaters. It might take me three days to make 200 cupcakes, but I promised to have them so I will do whatever it takes. I am so excited that I might be able to support myself making food that makes others happy, that I will mix with a big spoon if I have to.

It wasn't a new one, it was an older one, still working but without the bowl and beaters. I just spotted it right off, but it has already closed now. I will keep my eyes open for you. You also might want to repost that wishlist as the link isn't working.

I do have the parts, I'm not sure if my antique mixmaster parts will fit on the new ones, but it's a great idea. I will see what I can find out.

By the way, do you still have the parts? The bowl, the beaters etc.? I see one on Ebay minus those parts.
