I went to a hands on training today for a school Cafeteria
Substitute for any of the schools in the district, it could also
turn into a perm. job when positions start opening up. I would LOVE
that. I've tried to get a job with the school district since
relocating here. They said the sooner fingerprinting and background
checks come back, the sooner they can start calling us in to sub. I
completed my fingerprinting today, they said they would take the
fee out of our first check to make it easier on us.
Here are some of the things I need/want to have done.
We have to supply our own hairnets in Bouffant brown colored style
which is available at Sally Beauty in town.
A hair cut would be nice to help clean up this really long hair I
have and make it easier to manage when working with food. Plus,
it's heavy and strands love to fall out all the time. They have a
salon at Walmart and I think they accept gift cards.
A black apron with pockets, the kind you pull over your head, not
tie around the neck is ideal.
Clean, comfortable tennis shoes in size 9.5 ladies or 8.5 mens. I
have a pair of mens skechers that are very comfy but, they are
about 6 months old and they ask that we have clean shoes to work
in.
I'm wishing for gift cards to Walmart and Sally beauty supply for
some of the items I need to get/do before they start calling us. I
have paypal but, I'm not asking for money. I am more than happy to
accept an apron, shoes, and hairnets via mail.
Thank you for reading my wish.
