homeless family members

hi
i am just curious as to what kind of help is available to people in crisis. my hubands x wife daughter and grandaughter are homeless and living in a motel temporily. not sure how long that is going to last. i mean are there shelters out thre that help people in crisis. we are unable to help them as we live in a very small condo . please help with any info. they live in the burlington new jersey area

Have them contact the Board of Social Services for Burlington County and apply for TANF. That will get them on the fast track for housing assistance - particularly because they are already in a motel.

Do they receive assistance such as cash from welfare? If so I would recommend them going to their local office for help.
