My husband and I (Dolores and Darryl)are both low income and living in an Motor Home. It took all the money we had to get a dry warm place to sleep. Sadly, we have no money for food, and I am diabetic. Yes, I am using my own computer, but it was bought before we lost just about everything we owned.
My biggest wish is to make sure my husband and myself can eat some kind of meals for 23 days, which is when I will be able to get my food stamps. Now that I have a "roof" over my head, I will be eligible for more than the $25.00 I received this month (how on earth is it figure a homeless couple can survive on $25.00 a month in food stamps?)I have double checked the Local Wal-mart stores and they do not carry most grocery items.
The easiest ways to help would be store gift cards (Top Food and Drugs, Safeway, Red Apple Market) or have food delivered to the motor home park I am living in.
