This Wish has Nothing to do with me, But for My 4 year old Nephew Jayden, who's time left with us is Very Short.
Jayden was born on September 17, 2007.
Jayden is the oldest of 3 children.
Jayden was diagnosed in January 2010 at the age of 2 with Ewing's Sarcoma, it's a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or in soft tissue. Jayden was the 2nd youngest case ever recorded.
Then in November 2011, at the age 4, the family was planning a one-year remission party. The phone call
was received that he was diagnosed with MDS Leukemia, Which was caused by the intense Chemo Treatment of the Ewing's Sarcoma. Jayden has been a trooper. His complaints about his situation are minimal even during his 14 rounds of chemo.
He and his family have had to endure numerous hospital visits, a pregnant mother sleeping in a hospital
bed listening to her sick child’s heartbeat while growing a new life, a father working to provide for his
family, a little brother living with grandma and grandpa to make sure all his needs are met.
Jayden has made a list of wishes. They include things like picking fruit with his family, climbing a ladder
with his dad, and shoveling dirt. He also wishes are to go to the beach with his family which will be
happening due to an amazing amount of donations. The big part of Jayden's wishes is to meet the "Real
Batman" (i.e. Christian Bale) after a trip to the movies. We are tirelessly working around the clock to make
this happen. There is a Facebook page dedicated to making this dream a reality. In less than 24
hours it reached over 6,000 members. It is called
"Lighting the Batsignal for Jayden!". (now over 20,000).
