Hello My name is Nikol I am a Navy wife of 8 years living in
Hampton Virgina. My husband and I have three children we are from
Ohio. My husband has been in Guam since September of last
year(2011) on unaccompanied orders. He is a wonderful provider,
hard working dedicated man who often goes without so myself, and
the children can be provided for. Our wish is that we could get
help for a plane ticket from Guam to Virginia & back in
December. He will get about a 28 day leave and last year the
holidays were really hard without him here it broke my heart that
as we eat the typical holiday meals he was alone in his barracks
eating ramen noodles. The airfare there and back is just impossible
more so due to the fact that after he left I began to have child
care issues and lost my employment. My husband works so hard and
hardly even slightly complains about his many sacrifices he makes
so we can have what we need. We both realize that nothing short of
a miracle will bring him home this year it is just far to expensive
with his one check maintaining our home and putting food on the
table for all of us. Many people believe that the military
automatically sends all personal home once they earn leave but that
isn't true at all. "Mac" flights are available on a completely
unreliable time span and can cause a military member to have long
over lays in many different country's and miss valuable leave days
and possibly be late reporting back to command (big huge no no!) We
are really trusting in The Lord to make a way and a friend of mine
told me about this site and suggested I post a wish. After his
leave He still has another year Guam before we go to another
command on shore duty!! Thank you so much for taking the time to

and also for all of our military overseas. The ticket round trip
cost around $2,800 so you can see why it is so over whelming for
