Brother Tony with Cerebral Palsy Shooting Victim basic needs
fundraiser!
Meet my brother Tony:
An inspiring young man living with cerebral palsy, yet faithfully
working the graveyard shift scrubbing floors at Walmart for over 5
and a half years in one of the most dangerous parts of Phoenix.
Then Last Sunday, August 12th, Tony's world came to a halt as he
found himself lying on the floor of his home after being shot
through the throat during a robbery. He was rushed into surgery to
repair a vein right next to the jugular and admitted to ICU, where
he was put into an induced coma. The Doctors say he is a walking
miracle, and if it were any other angle, the shot would have been
fatal.
Detectives were able to recover most of the stolen items, but when
they opened his safe, all the money he had been saving for over two
years to go on a vacation with was gone.
Still, Tony smiles and fights the pain in a long recovery process,
determined to get back to work.
And when asked what he was going to do if they never find the
money, he simply raised his eyebrows and said "then i gotta start
saving again."
So I'm throwing a penny into the wishing well for him, and even a
penny back helps!
I put a video up to introduce people to my amazing big brother and
