Hello, my name is William Hustus and what brought me here is the fact that I am desperate need of money to save my home. I went to court on Wednesday, the 22nd of August and the ruling was that I have to come up with 1,000 dollars by the first of September in order to save my home in Augusta, Maine. USA. My fiancee myself have just recently gotten back on our feet with our 17 month old son, and then we got bahind in rent due to student awards through the VA not coming in for my fiancee because of the fact that the class that she is currently finishing up not being covered (it's remedial math), a fact that we did not know about until it was too late to add or change courses. We have called all of the local churches and gotten very minimal help (the only thing that has actually been recieved is a $25.00 check from one church) and the salvation army as well as catholic charities are too low on funds to help. We have tried general assistance but they said that they could not help us in ou situation because of the fact that they do not help with back rent even though an eviction notice is required for help in the first place. We have tried for loans, but because of the fact that we did not take care of our credit when we were younger, we cannot qualify due to our credit. We have a decent amount of money coming in in the form of my fiancees benefits within the next month or so and I work a full time job where I average about 1,500 dollars a month. We are basically looking for any help that we can get even if it is in the form of a loan with a ridiculously high interest rate if need be.
