I posted back in Oct/Nov of last year when I almost lost my mother and she made $5 to much to get medicaid/medicare etc. and was on all types of meds when she got out of the hosp and was unable to get any assitance.
Since then, she has turned 65 in Jan and was able to get the medical assist. ins she qualified for.
However, she is back on dialysis three times a week and on April 2nd they removed cancer from her mouth and cut off 1/4 of her tongue. In July she noticed tumors popping out all over her neck on the same side as where they removed the cancer. She was diagnosed again with head and neck cancer, that has also spread to both lungs. So now in less then a year she lost her transplant kidney, had cancer removed and now her body is being taken over with that same cancer.(which keeps her in tremendous pain and limits her eating b/c she can't open her mouth but enough to fit a straw)
She starts chemo on August 30th, once a week for 6 months, on top of her dialysis 3 times a week. We have a long road ahead of us, and Dr's are not certain how well she will do. She is a fighter, and isn't ready to go yet, and continues to fight to keep her life.
I am asking if anyone would be so kind as to send her cards of encouragement, and/or prayer for devine healing for her.
