I am posting this wish for my cousin and his family. Their 8 year old son has kidney disease and they are going to be making trips to the closest children’s hospital to start the living donor matching for kidney transplant purpose this week. The hospital is 3 hours from their home so gas and food expenses will be a major concern. My cousin is currently deployed and possibly being sent home very soon. They have 4 children, their son being the oldest so any help would go a long way. He had a right nephrectomy in 2010 so they want to get a jump start on this testing before his renal function decreases too much and he has to go on dialysis. If they have to stay overnight they will incur costs from that so we would like to raise the money for one night’s stay at least. Gas, food, and lodging for them would be about $350 so any amount toward that would be great. This is going to be another long road for them so please say a little prayer and help if you can!
