I only have 5 months until my baby is here and I have nothing!

Hey everyone.

My name is Sam, I'm 18. I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant, due January 29th.

Like the title says, I don't have ANYTHING at all for this baby yet. I don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet either.

My wish is for someone to be my hero and send me some things for the baby. They don't have to be brand new or anything but I'll include my walmart baby registry just so you can see the kinds of things I have picked out.

Every little thing helps. If you can even just pick out something little from my registry and have it delivered to my local store, I would be eternally grateful.

I've checked all of the local papers, websites and things like that but for used things people want like 60% of the initial cost of the item plus I would have to go pick it up, which would end up being more expensive than buying the item from the store. I'll have to check out freecycle, I've never heard of that before. I get WIC and Medicaid, and I just applied for food stamps last week so I'm crossing my fingers for a call back soon.

The dad is involved, not so much his family, but he is. We're doing a rent to own on our house. With that and all the bills plus me not being able to work, money is tight.

Welcome to WUAH, Sam.

Now is the time to check craigslist, freecycle or even local garage sales. Have you signed up for WIC, Food Stamps, Medcaid etc?

You may also want to contact your local pregnancy center. Also get the dad's family involved.
