Son 1st Birthday

I am posting this wish for help.My sons first birthday is October 8. I wanted to have him a Thomas the Train birthday. My husbands job doesnt work in nov and dec. so that puts us behind even more on bills. SO at this point we are trying to get caught up on everything and so that when those months come we are not that far behind. but with christmas comein too.. Just dont know what else to do but make a wish and hope that it comes true. I have nothing for his birthday at all. I have no money to get anything for his birthday.I am just wishing that someone will help me get some some stuff for his birthday decorations, present, napkins, plates, candy, cake, anything will work to make this special you only turn one once.I just want to make this a great birthday but without any help it is not going to happen..He loves thomas the train he will watch it all day not many kids get in to stuff like this but he will pplay wit his toys and watch thomas and be happy. well it is close to lucas first birthday and they already did layoffs so we want even be getting to more checks as of right now we cant have a birthday party at all

Hope your Thomas the Train hero finds you :) My boys love Thomas, too! lol We bought a Thomas cake pan last year and use it for their birthdays. It let us do it on the cheap. We used food coloring and plain vanilla icing to decorate. Cost around $5 bucks a cake to make. Can't afford to buy cakes at the outrageous prices they charge. We do six birthdays a year! Wal-mart has tons of Thomas decorations on the cheap, too. Hint: we use blue plates, red forks, and red and blue balloons and streamers. We do the cups, napkins, and a couple 'special' balloons in character for under $20. You can also get pinatas in Thomas for around $18 online. Maybe make a wal-mart wishlist with some of these things so if heroes choose, they can have them bought and shipped to you directly.
