Gas money to go to Sea World

Hello Heroes. I am here today because my family is hoping to take a trip to Sea World tomorrow. Thanks to Anheuser Busch, we are able to enjoy one day at Sea World at no cost as they provide a free day for military families. We try to go every year, but have the same dilemma. Gas. It costs us about $50 round trip and $14 to park.

We are hoping to go this weekend as we don't have many opportunities to go with my husband going to school at Daytona State working on 30 credit hours (10 hours at school and 2 online courses) and myself doing online courses as well as going to PT 3x's a wk 2 hours a day for my disabilities. We make ends meet, just don't have it for the extras. We have sandwiches, snacks and cups to bring for water so we won't need anything for spending, we just want to do something fun as a family. He has been home from Iraq since November and this will be the first big thing we will be able to do if we can find a hero to help. Thank you in advance and God Bless.

Thank you Marxygirl. We are used to it. Before he deployed he was a long haul truck driver. No matter what we do tomorrow, we will have a good family day. We do a lot with our daughter in the small minutes we have together throughout the days. It is very important we let her know how important she is. At times when we have the extra fund, we drive to his school to spend 20 min with him for his lunch. Its those lil min that count. So no matter what we do tomorrow, it will be as a family :D

If your that busy and your kids father is gone that much this is important for your kids.
Frequetfamily activites make a difference in how you kids turn out later in life. America has put kids last and made famles suffer fom being absent so much just working trying to survive.. I pray you get your hero.

Its ok if not "mommie" we will just go next year. If we can't afford to tomorrow, it wasn't meant to be. Things happen for a reason :) I will be grateful if we can go, but understand if we cannot. My want is not a priority compared to some others needs. I do have groceries and such, just wanted a day out, but we can go to the park instead if things do not work out tonight :D

Thank you Mommie817, this year has been rough since he returned from Iraq; his father passed, my sister was killed in an awful accident, my aunt/godmother passed and my grandmother passed a few months ago. It has been a trying year so fun is something we can really use :)
