Hello and thank you for considering my request. My name is Laura. I
am 29 & a mother to 4 amazing children. I've had it rough all
my life and have pretty much had to teach myself how to survive.
I've faced a lot of trial and error that way. But I honestly
wouldn't change a thing if I could. I love the person I have become
and the woman I continue to evolve into. I believe that I could
change a lot of lives with my own testimony. And that's just what
I've set out to do. I haven't had a job in years. And every time I
would enroll in school something would happen (usually something
horrible with in the family), that would require me to withdraw.
Well, I have come to a point in my life where I understand my
children are my legacy and my life is MY LIFE. I only get this
once. So I have pledged to my heart and my soul and GOD in Heaven
that I will set out to do all the things I desire to. I have
already re-enrolled in school. I am going for my Associate Degree
in Business Management @ American Public University. And after
about 3 years of not working, I have landed a job at the Factory
Outlets where I live. What I am requesting is either a Ross or
Marshall's or even Wal-Mart gift card so that I can stock my humble
wardrobe with attire that it suitable for a retail store that sells
high end business/ business casual attire and accessories. My
fiance works really hard to support us with 2 jobs currently and we
just have enough to pay bills. 3 of my children have birthdays here
in October. (2 are twins!) And the holidays are just around the
corner. I can't stand the thought of not being able to keep a much
needed job because of clothes, or a lack there-of. So I'm in a "by
any means necessary" (well with in the legal limitations!) mode. So
here I am, asking, seeking, and knocking. This time next year, I'd
like to be able to grant a few wishes myself. I strongly believe in
karma and one hand washing the other. Again thanks for considering
